Good day...

I am looking for a piece of white FILON approximately 24" X 72"...

Can anybody help by pointing me to a source?

Thanks a million,

try an rv surplus or junk yard.

ask if you can chop a bit out of a unit they are stripping.

Thanks, excellent suggestion... "but" ..this morning, I had people at three different RV places tell me that there are no more RV surplus or junk yards in the Fort Worth/Dallas area! Yikes! Each was very helpful and took a good bit of their time to go look "in the back" (each of the places does RV service)... no luck... well, maybe "bad luck!"

Filon Source

You might try these people and ask about a remnant piece.
RV Surplus

Walt's RV Surplus & Supply, in Rialto, CA, also has a lot of it in rolls, you might check for a smaller piece there as well
Or Google "Filon" or "RV Surplus" there are a lot of hits.

FILON is the thin (0.045") fiberglass that is the outside "skin" on the entrance doors of Casitas (and probably countless other RVs). Also, [many of] those "fiberglass-walled" stickies are made with FILON laminated to really thin plywood...

I just learned what this stuff is recently... it's amazing how "modding" broadens one's knowledge of barely-useful info!
