Surf Side Tongue Weight

Anyone have any idea what the tongue weight of the original Surf Side trailer body is?

AND

Has anyone towed a Surf Side right off the bumper of a '99 Ford Explorer SOHC with tow package? I know the bumper is rated for 350 lbs tongue weight.

I don't own a Surf Side nor an Explorer, but one thing you want to do is tow the trailer as level as possible. If necessary, it's better to be slightly tongue down than tongue up. Have you measured the hitch height?

Mine sits at about 185-190 LBS with 2 propane tanks,the batterie,and electric jack.
