Nope and nope However, we've found the manufacturers manuals are sadly lacking...so you're not missing much..truly. To the left on the Nav bar is our Document Center. Perhaps you'll find manuals for your appliances, etc. If you need anything specifically and don't find it there...speak up!

By the way, welcome to FiberglassRV...we're glad you're here

On edit, I found this Topic: 1978 Surfside. You may wish to read it....it has said Triple E was the manufacturer.

great news. you have one rockin trailer. maybee i am just partial because i too own a TM-14 Surfside. i have some of the original doccuments and most of the stickers on the inside of closet pertaining to weight, manufacturing, etc. i have the original package with manuals in it. as it is wintering at my folks place i will grab them next time i am over there. what is the best way to get this info to you? e-mail or forum.

The Surfside tm-14 trailer was built by [b]Triple-E mfg. in Winkler, MB. They actually had a few plants back in the 70's where the trailers would get assembled, Winkler, Winnipeg and Gimili, MB. They started in Winkler and are still in Winler although they now focus on Motorhomes, Fith Wheels, Trailers etc. .

My 1975 SURFSIDE was built in Winnipeg (where I live) the serial number tag says the manufacturer was ARMOR COACH INDUSTRIES but i will have to check the spelling for you. Not sure if they were a division of TRIPLE E or not. I think by about 1978 the trailers all said TRIPLE E. Mine is a front kitchen offside closet layout with a rear dinette/bed.

A very nice little trailer

we have a 1977 14ft. surfside and found it was made by triple e, in Morden, manitoba.

I love it when old threads are brought back to life, truly. It adds to the richness of the archives. But, it's doubtful Hub Bru will ever see this post. He/She had Last Activity: 02-02-2007 Which is kinda sad, hung around for three days then disappeared. Glad the rest of you stayed with us!

Triple E made the surfside. I think I have a pdf of the manual but it won't help much. very generic info. If you need the art for new logo's, let me know and I'll send them your way.

just found this in the manual, on line for the surf-side trailer

I was disappointed that there is no manufacturer info for Surf-side and took it upon myself to talk to the manufacturer and then send this info to the Tech Admin for the Surfside page. (I have had no response.)

I have noticed that there is no description for Surf-Side trailers at the top of the section and in the manufacturers listings. I have done some research with the manufacturer and would like to submit the information for this spot.

"Surf-Side fiberglass trailers were manufactured from 1977 until 1980 by Triple E RV Manufacturing in Winkler, Manitoba, Canada."

I note that the information brochure that they sent me from 1977 spelled it with the hyphen and both words capitalized.

I then found that there was a discussion about this quite a while ago and that the info could have been posted. I do notice that in #5 on this thread there is even more information about production places. Triple E had plants there but did not indicate that they made Surf-Side there. Also, some units have 1976 on their info tag but I expect they are considered 1977 models. How do we go about getting this info placed on the Manufacturer's list for Surf-side?
