Does anyone know where I could get a replacement table for my Boler? Looking on Vancouver Island area. Or has anyone made their own? Any tips would help.

Cheers

Making a new table is easy, especially if you have the old one to use as a template. A quality piece of 3/4" plywood cut to size and properly finished works great. If you have it, clean up and reuse the old hardware from your original table set-up. If not, legs, bases, even the hinge/bracket hardware (ala Scamp) is available from many places.

Send a message via Yahoo to Kenny D.
We used a piece (actually more than a piece) of solid oak and widened our table, by about 1-1/2". It really easier than you would think if you are handy with a table saw and router.

We used a piece from Home Depot that already has the arborite on it and added maple edging.

Thanks for the advice guys! My Boler is totally retro... 50's diner style. Does anyone know where I could get the chrome to edge my new table?

Cheers,
Shanon

Vintage Trailer Supply has some trim that might work for your table. Check it out at:

I'm in the processing of making a new table out of 3/4" birch plywood with the iron-on birch edging. Good luck with your project!
