Tank Level sensors in a Boler

Has anyone ever installed tank level sensors for the freshwater tank in a boler 1300 or similar trailer. These tanks are so small it would be difficult from the ideas I have. If anyone has any input on this idea it would be great to hear.

look on ebay for kits that use capacitive stick on sensors, mine look like two pieces of foil with wires coming off.

you could also just bring out an indicator tube like the level tube on a hydraulic tank to a side cabinet

I like the red LED backlight that peterh installed for determining the amount of water in the tank. Here's that thread, but you'd need to go to the beginning of the topic to see the "thermometer-like" viewing window he's talking about. The nice thing, he didn't have to mess with the tank itself:
