Well, when we got the '72 Compact Jr. last year, it listed a little to the driver's side. But folks here said if the list was only an inch or two not to worry about it. I didn't. But when we returned from a short trip in April I noticed the drop at the back bumper had increased - a 6 inch difference from driver's side to higher passengers' side.
I checked out the frame (visually) but could find no breaks or cracks. I figured it was those old leaf springs. So I
replaced them. It all looked great (though now too tall to easily fit in and out of the garage), and measured up well.
Then we took it to San Antonio Lake - and now it's listing to the driver's side again...fairly significantly (noticeably...I haven't measured yet).
Any other ideas why this may be so? (It lists whether the water tank - which is on the driver's side - is full or not.)
Next step???
