tire and rim size for 74 pacer

Hi, I ordered run of the mill tires and rims from ebay, package deal. I put them on today and naturally the tires rub the wheel well skirt. Who knew there's something called 'back spacing'? I do now after reading up on tire and rim sizes ad nauseam. I'm returning them. Anyone had luck ordering a package deal that fit? The size I ordered is 175/80R13. Thanks for any comments

Did the wheels you just purchased have zero offset ? Most all trailer tires have zero offset. Perhaps the axle on your trailer was changed to a wider axle?? If that is the case, standard trailer wheels will not work.

no, zero does not work. I looked at thinner tires but not much to choose from.

If zero offset wheels and 175-80-13 tires rub you might have sagging suspension or some previous owner changed the axle to a wider one.
