Touch Audio by Lippert in 17' Escape trailer

I am buying a 17' Escape trailer; they offer the "Touch Audio Multimedia Interface System" by Lippert Components...which I am not impressed with and have read many reviews to this effect. Could anyone suggest an alternative RV system..I don't care about DVD, TV; but want to be able to plug in my I-touch to a USB port and listen to music. Having AM/FM is good. This unit and its' speakers would only be inside the RV. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Ian

The Touch Audio by Lippert is a stock rv radio installed in most SOB's. I put one of these in my Escape 19' and will put one in my new Escape. It is iPod adaptable. You can also get blue tooth. JENSEN Heavy Duty MINI Waterproof Radio Package

Check on crutchfield.com for units, you can select features to filter. Some units will just have a USB input, others will have full controls for the ipod built right into the head unit. I found a bluetooth/ipod unit for just over $100 dollars, with a free installation kit. Even if you don't buy from them, you'll have some brands/models to look for.
