My Scamp 13' uses 1 7/8" and I believe the Scamp 16/19 uses 2". I also believe all the Casitas use 2" also, so likely that's what yours should be.

On the underside of most couplers, there is an adjusting nut to move the clamp mechanism in and out -- Maybe yours just needs adjusting (a previous owner may have tried to use a smaller ball than 2" and adjusted it too tight).

My Boler B1700 uses a 2" ball/coupler. I have yet to see a coupler which did not have the ball size stamped into it (along with the weight capacity, etc), but layers of paint can make it hard to read. I didn't see the information on mine at first - I'd suggest another look, and maybe even some paint stripping.

Information is good. Lack of information is not so good, but misinformation is much worse. Check facts, and apply common sense liberally.
