trillium 1300 fan

Hello,
We installed a new fan in our trillium.
I am not happy with the install as it sticks up above the trailer on the out side top. We had to build a 2x2 frame for the top outside.The other choice was to have it hang down inside.
Did I purchase the wrong fan or is the install wrong.

Any ideas ?

Who knows? You need to provide the brand and model of the fan and pix would help too.

Most, if not all, of these fans are designed for composite roofs (outer skin, 2x2" frame/insulation, and inner skin). We with our 1/8" fiber glass and elephant skin or rat fur have to make due.
Not many will see the extra on top of the roof. Just make it look nice.

depending on the brand, you may be able to get a modified trim kit, do some checking on our forums for fantastic fan, its the one that comes to mind for me
