Trailer: 1978 Trillium 4500
Posts: 9
I just bought a 1978 Trillium 4500! It's unrestored although the owner (the original owner I might add) took pretty good care of it. It's in solid used condition - missing parts as far as I know... I do need to replace/refirb/repair the sliding overhead storage doors. I know I need to replace the soft parts (cushions and carpet) and check/grease the wheel bearings but my question is this: to what else should I give immediate attention? Check operation of the propane appliances... what else?

Also: I'm looking for ideas on original and aftermarket additions I can make to improve usability. I was looking at roof vent fans and was thinking about some way to hang a screen over the door... What have you Trillium and other fiberglass trailer owners done to spiff up your rig? Any info in this are would be greatly appreciated. Pictures welcome!

Thanks!

Small world indeed Mark...

I've built screen doors for both of my trailers ..

It's an afternoon project and I highly recommend it.

So this is where Land Cruiser owners are hanging out now! We're installing a new Fantastic Fan from Vintage Trailers in our Boler and looking forwad to improved airflow. A screen door is sure on our "to do" list.
