Trillium cook top propane

Hi,
Our stainless steel cooktop in our 1300 Trilium is beyond cleaning as in very rusty.
Any ideas on replacement parts or units?

Thanks,
Rich

try Craigs List in your area, find an old tent trailer that is selling off parts. make sure that it fits, that is how I got mine, I had to buy the trailer, tent was gone but the rest was good. I have a 3 burner in my T4500, but will check if I have a 2-burner. I assume that is what you need.

New Cooktop

Hello,

I had a similar problem.... valve failed so had to replace
the cooktop in my 1300.

It is Atwood Wedgewood 56494 DV-20Scosting about $100
seven years ago... Looks like they are up to about $120>$140....

https://www.boatandrvaccessories.com...-56494-cooktop

My installation required aluminum angle trim to make up for
the new unit being slightly smaller than the original.

Also installed was a little battery powered igniter / photo,
big black button lower left. The toggle switch is to remotely
turn on a 600W inverter for the coffee grinder and juicer, etc.

Good Luck,
Larry H

Although they are not easy to find, try looking for a RV centre/dealer that buys RV wrecks and resells the parts. That is how I get some of my replacement parts. Not always the cheapest route but quite often there is a larger choice and my time is precious.

Trillium Stove High Heat Paint

Hi Rich,

Try searching your local hardware or Home Depot for "high heat paint".

The stove top is easily removed. After a rough sanding, wipe it down and wait for the surface to dry.
Brush or spray a few coats of high heat paint and it should look like new.

Once the weather warms up I'll be doing this to my stove top, which like yours has some surface rust spots.

Depending on how bad the stovetop is, I would opt for the $8 solution. Did that for my stovetop since after cleaning it up and discovering that it worked fine, I invested in a can of high-heat paint and got a decent stovetop out of it that goes with my decor.
