Trillium Door Handle Broken

Hello! We are new owners of a glorious 1977 Trillium!

We have a working lock, but the handle on the inside is broken. Does anyone have any fixes for this? Is it possible to replace just the handle for the unit?

Thank you!

FWIW, 1977 had a different door lock. Regardless, head to ebay for used parts. In the interim, a pair of vise grips can work...

Looks like a Bargman L-300, but pull it and verify.

David's links below appear to be better deals than ebay! A lot cheaper than the L-400 that was typical on the 1977.

I agree with Bill. That is an L-300. So your trailer may not be a 1977. It also looks like the handle was on backwards. Sadly, they are quite rare, and expensive.
I just googled it and found a web site called 2040-Parts that seems to have lots, some brand new:
Sell RECONDITIONED BARGMAN L-300,NEW SPRINGS, RV DOOR LOCK, LATCH,# 12,VINTAGE CAMPER in Pahrump, Nevada, United States, for US $145.00
Buy RV BARGMAN L-300 L300 DOOR LOCK HANDLE LATCH For VINTAGE Campers in York, Pennsylvania, US, for US $66.99
Buy RV BARGMAN L-300 L300 DOOR LOCK HANDLE LATCH For VINTAGE Campers in Dover, Delaware, US, for US $99.99
Buy RECONDITIONED BARGMAN L-300,NEW SPRINGS, RV DOOR LOCK LATCH, # 3,VINTAGE CAMPER in Pahrump, Nevada, United States, for US $120.00
Find Bargman L-300 Motorhome RV Latch Lock Airstream L300 - New in Sun City, Arizona, US, for US $249.99

OK, so, maybe not so rare, but definitely expensive. I actually found quite a few more on ebay.com:

Hi,

Another temporary fix would be just a stick of wood
glued to what is left with JB Weld....

Uncle Larry

I was thinking a vice grip pliers would do the job until a replacement could be found.
