A couple of years ago, I raised the issue of simply removing the gas stove from our 76
Trillium in favour of maybe an induction model. I've decided to keep it, for now, since it has been inspected along with the lines and is safe. I have removed the old unsafe
furnace and
fridge, replacing them with cupboards.
My suggestion caused some controversy, including dire warnings a trailer without appliances would be worth nothing. So I'm wondering for those who have decided to strip, how has it worked? What was your solution?
We most times don't have food in the trailer anyway, especially in bear country, but use a cooler, an electric one when we have power and a small 400/800 watt portable heater in the colder weather. Works for us and I've had offers to buy.
