Trillium Rock Guard Hinge

I'm buying a 75 1300 Trillium and the Rock Guard blew open at one time apparently and damaged the hinge, it still functions somewhat but doesn't allow the rock guard to completely close. Does anyone know if you can buy a replacement online somewhere? i've done a lot of searching but can't find anything. Click image for larger version

First thing I would try is to remove the rock guard assembly, then remove the hinge from the assembly. It looks like a standard piano hinge so maybe try to straighten it. Amazon would be a possible source for a new hinge if the original can't be fixed.

Thanks Jack, it's not a piano hinge, it's a C Track similar to what the awning slides in. I am going to try and straighten it out. I found one online this morning, now I just have to measure the opening to see if they are the same.

How did you make out with this? I have sort of the same issue with my setup. My track is bent up pretty bad and the rock guard occasionally pops out of it when I try to open it. I didn't know these tracks were removable, I thought they were part of the front window itself.

I haven't purchased one yet but I found them by searching google for an awning rail, AP Products 021-56301-8 seems to be the right one but it's only available in white or black. The track is separate from the guard, I took my guard and rail off in one piece. I may try to straighten it out before I replace it.

Actually, I think mine is closer to either this https://pantherrvproducts.com/021-50801-8/ or this https://www.vintagetrailersupply.com...-long-vts-818/

I'm going to take mine off after my upcoming Eggfest trip and see if I can bend it back into shape. If not, I might spring for this rail.

I took mine off the rock guard yesterday, I think I can get away with straightening it out, fingers crossed. It's definitely L shaped as you can see in the pictures. Click image for larger version
