Smile Trillium Screen Door

Hi, anyone have suggestions about purchasing a prefab screen door for a 1975 Trillium? I have a friend with a 1990's Scamp with a bifold screen door...I have tried a Lowes Magnetic one but they don't stay up ...

I was considering putting one in, and would likely use a Seiki Vista Plus, like Escape uses. Right out of the way when not in use. just one gable to build beside the dinette, and use the pantry on the other side.

But, seeing that there was lots of venting windows, I opted to not put one in at all for now. The door can just stay closed on the few days a year there are bugs. It can easily be added later.

I saw the same assembly of door on Trillium, but he had separated the door in the center and installed hinges on each side and close the screen door by the center.
That gave 2 small panels instead of a big...
He found less cumbersome inside.

I haven't had a chance to install it yet, but I was given one of those screen doors which splits down the centre. Magnets close the door when you pass through it. Not sure how I'd install it, but I've seen them in other rigs and they worked really well, especially when you exit or enter with your hands full...

I use the magnetic curtain on my 1977 Trillium and I think that the answer is glued Velcro to hold it in place. When I camp in the fall I just take it down.

I actually bought two piano hinges and made the doors and cut the jamb. I never finished. I would have lost my newspaper rack, flashlight holder, garbage bag holder, and bottle opener that is mounted on the closet wall. Raz
