Trillium Tail Lights Replacement

I need some help figuring out how to do the connection of the wiring when replacing the tail lights of my 1980 Trillium 1300. I bought a set of tail lights from Paul Neumeinster. The new lights come with only two wires, however, when I removed the old tail lights I noticed that these have 4 wires. Can someone tell me which of the old wires I’m supposed to omit and what old wires I’m supposed to connect to the two wires on my new tail light. Thank you

Check the wiring diagram for the Trillium over on the document center. You are going to need three wire. My guess is your replacements didn't include a ground wire? Also, have you contacted Paul?

The document center is well hidden under the "MORE" tab.

Saw your pictures on the Trillium page. Your fourth wire is bogus. And the third wire goes onto the ground tab in the fixture.
