UHaul door hinge

Hi,
Does anyone know the CT13 door hinge length and offset? Didn't find anything in search. Mine is in storage now or I would just look.

I'll let someone with better measuring capabilities than myself answer. Is your hinge broken? Just wondering if that is also a UHaul propriatery item.

Nope, mine is not broken but I saw some Ice Box hinges on line that look just like the ones on the UHaul--just in case.

Hum, didn't think of that. If they're not too expensive, and the dimensions seem right it might be worth taking a chance. Good thinking.

I think the hinges will outlive the trailer. They look like they came off an icebox!

The length is just what I needed. Sue with I had your abilities to do the UHaul repairs I've been reading about that you are doing. Maybe our paths will cross some time. I'd like to see what you accomplish.

The set of ice box hinges I found seem to be a bit bigger than the ones on the CT. Eight inches vs. about 7 1/2" on the UHaul. Don't know if the offest of 7/8" is correct either, but I'm sure you folks here could make them work. Cheap bid of $22.50 that included the door latch thingy. Ebay seller was artrussianmom item#170791311637. Might help someone in need since we know there are no parts available to us.

If anyone ever removes a U-Haul hinge, look on the back to see if it's stamped with a brand name and/or model numbers. It's very doubtful U-Haul made proprietery hinges. Having that information may lead to a new source for the correct hinge.
