We had a Uhaul. They are notorious for leaking in all kinds of places. We had leaks at the windows, around the marker lights, through the roof seam, and we even had a leak right through the fiberglass near the solar panel Often the water will travel before it shows up so locating the source can be difficult. Use a good bright light to try to locate the source of the leak when it is raining, or have a helper use a hose to run water over the trailer.

I also had wind driven rain come in through the stove vent and drip out on to the stove. We bought a Casita and sold the Uhaul. Best move ever.

Thank you,Bob and Mary- This is my first Uhaul camper. It is cute and they are lite for towing. I had a 13 ft. Scamp 5 yrs ago,and sold it.It does not leak like this one, but it also was a 2002 model. This is the first leak that really Making me "Confuse". My first guess wound be the "Window",but the window is away from the cabinet and the kitchen sink is no longer there. So, I will have to do alot of leaking "Detective"lol. Thank you for your help and advice.

U-Haul leaking
Ok, you have purchased a great trailer. I have owned a CT and now have a VT. I have previously owned an Escape as well. I never had the problem you are experiencing, but you can find a lot of help on the U-Haul owners Facebook page. Since these trailers were made in the 1980’s there will be some items to upgrade replace. Still, a great fiberglass trailer.
Welcome, and I encourage you to register with the Facebook group.

OK. Maybe it's just me, but I'm missing something here on how "great" owning a leaky trailer is? Please feel free to elaborate on your statement...

Leaky trailer
U-Haul is an incredibly well built trailer. Any trailer will develop leaks around windows, doors etc. as the trim degrades with age, weather, etc. not uncommon to find this in older trailers. You clearly had an issue and moved on, which is great and it sounds like you are happy. The VT I now have needed some upgrades, not due to leaks, and I chose to fix it up and preserve the history. Not for everyone, but for many.
Happy camping!

Well, I don't know. My Casita is 17 years old, (2008,) and I don't have, nor have I had, any leaks in all that time. Just sayin'.
