I know it's here somewhere, but I am obviously using the wrong terms while searching.

I vaguely recall there is a RV place in central California that has appliances, parts, etc. And the owner is known as something like "Trailer Bob" and his top sidekick's handle is in a similar vein.

Anyway, I am traveling to the Central Valley tomorrow to look at a Compact Jr that has a 110v only refer, which I would like to replace with propane/110v. The main door of the trailer looks iffy also.

I did find the reference to Walts RV in Fontana, but that's a long way from where I'll be.

I'll be traveling between Merced and Ventura -- so if there's a good RV place somewhere near that route I'd sure like to know about it.

I'll need answers by 5pm Monday so I can decide whether to stay over and go to the RV place while it's open on Tuesday, or just motor on home Monday night and take care of the problems after I have returned.

Thanks!

Close I think you're looking for RV Doctor George located in Sacramento, CA.

BTW: I knew doctor was part of the title... that's what I used to search.

Donna is right on. The salvage yard is located a few miles NE of downtown off of I80. They will probably have a Fridge. They have tons of doors. You need the dimensions of the cutout 'cause the doors come with the frame.

They are closed Monday but Paul (asst. mgr) is in early in the morning. Drop an email, "Attention Paul" in subject line, ask about refer and door. Give him your cell and he should get back to you. Won't save the overnight but.....

Good luck

Thanks Donna & Tom -- that's the place but I couldn't remember enough to search for it.

I'm on my way....
