Raspy: YES. Epoxy sticks to polyester as well as a whole lot of other things. Polyester likes to stick to polyester. THANKS for pointing that out!

If you don't really know what your trailer is, assume epoxy and go for it. Also, polyester resin cans seem to have far more dire warnings and cautions...epoxy resin cans are almost mild in comparison (if you feel dizzy or get a headache, step out into fresh air for a while until you feel better). Always work with as much ventilation as possible...but if you're working inside a trailer, myself, I prefer products that don't seem to demand a haz-mat suit and a jet-engine fan to start with.

Got the boler primed and painted!! It looks awesome.
Used Interlux pre kote and petit paint easypoxy (single part polyurethane)
Definitely do not recommend lacquer based primer..
The solvent wash just stripped it right off. Body filler is the way to go
