Using traction or a shock cord to keep things from shifting around under the rear bun

I was thinking of maybe putting some traction on the floor under the rear bunk of a scamp 13 to keep things from sliding forward while towing. I mean, stuff like they use on stand up paddle board decks (And maybe on decks of boats or boat cockpits?). Also, maybe running a shock cord across from one side to the other. What do you think? Have people tried this? Does it work pretty well?

How about a rug gripper pad and/or a tension curtain rod?

That’s a good idea. Thanks. I am going to try that now. Where is easier to set up, and when it’s not up things will still slide on the floor easily, which might be good for moving things around when I want to . thank you very much

My Trillium came with plastic mats on the floors of the storage compartments. The first time I lifted them up I found they were trapping moisture, the plywood floor was damp. I pulled them all out.

I had a 50-50 chance of getting that upright. I think I have an idea what to do next time.
