Venting heat from under the sink

Hi Everyone,

I just love this site with all the great ideas and information.

I was wondering what others do about the heat build-up from the furnace in the cabinet under the sink? It can get pretty warm and I'm concerned about melting the plastic water line. I would like to remove this heat from under the sink and improve the air circulation in the boler to better distribute the heat. My Boler is a 1976 Honey with a Suburban furnace that radiates the heat, no fan.

Has anyone made modifications to their Boler to correct this situation?

Our Scamp gets it from the water heater even though it is vented out. I wonder if you could find a vented door or add a vent to the door which usually means someone with a sawsall.

Thanks Cyndi for the suggestion. I was thinking about installing a vent. I thought somewhere on this site someone installed 2 small 12V computer fans above their furnace to remove the excess heat. I was hoping I could find out more about this modification.
