Wall covering under or up to rubber window gasket?

As we get closer to that point on our rebuild, I'm wondering if the rat fur/reflectix combo is meant to go under the rubber gasket on the front window of the Scamp or up to it? When we pulled the old window out, the original ensolite was under it...but it sure seemed a lot thinner than the reflectix/headliner combo.

If it goes on before the window, will I run into trouble getting the gasket to seal? Or should I just leave the last little bit free until the window is in, and then shove it under the gasket with a plastic putty knife after the fact?

Thoughts? Suggestions? Thanks!

I'm not exactly sure what you are suggesting, but I can tell you that when I redid my windows instead of hiding the wood frame between the Ensolite and the outer fiberglass, I decided to make the wood visible, more like house windows. I rabitted out a small channel for the Ensolite to be tucked under and held in place by the wood frame so it looks neat. No issues so far since doing this a couple of years ago. I like the look as well..
