Wall mounted Colman lantern replacement parts

Hi! I'm Ellen from Washington with a '72 Campster. It has done wonderfully one ur trip to San Diego behind our VW Golf for over 4,000 miles. One thing we noticed is a wall mounted Colman lantern that actually works, however there is no glass "shade" or a mantel. It does have metal reflectors around the sides. I have not had much luck find replacement parts online. On a previous post someone suggested a 011-303 mantel which fits the older Colman lanterns. But where to find a glass shade? Let me know if you have any suggestions.

Hmmmm Wonder why gas lights are no longer used inside houses and trailers?

I used to own a Caveman camper that had. A built in lamp like you describe. When I had to replace the glass I took careful measurements and got my replacement from Lehmans. There are lots of people that have vintage campers, perhaps you could find out from them?
I loved my wall mounted gas light, used it for many years. We also always had the roof vent open when we used it..safety first!

Were you in Calgary, I would direct you to the Coleman service center:
https://www.google.ca/maps/place/Col...9a45d5c0b4284f

They only charge $8/hr for service. When minimum wage is $10.20/hr. How is that possible?

They also stock lots of parts.

Getting measurements and any model number information then making a call to Coleman. I have one of the old red single mantle lanterns and it did take some checking around but eventually found a place that had it.

Start with Coleman, even if they don't have the part they may have a part number for the original glass. That part number can be very useful for looking up replacement parts.

Inventory programs and parts manuals often have cross references "Replaces Coleman part number A-xxx1 and C-xxx3" Generators for pump fuel lanterns are one where I have seen that type of reference. Also seen in listings for electric heat element of propane fridges. Or any spark plug manual hanging in a big box store.

The Lehmans catalog makes great bathroom reading. It reminds me a little of the Whole Earth Catalog but it's much easier to handle Raz
