Want to build a front dinette in my 1981 13ft perris pacer

Okay, I know this has been beat in the ground, and I admit I've asked this question before. I just had to reformat my hard-drive and i've lost all the great pictures and ideas that have been given out before. Could someone that has converted the front bunk bed on a 13ft trailer (i really don't car what make) please provide some pics / and dimensions of the cutout that they used. Also even more important...do they think it was worth the effort ?
While I consider myself fairly handy I'm a bit apprehensive into cutting up my trailer......so please be gentle & not to critical as I ask this for this info again

Hi Alan!

We cut the front bench to make a dinette and definitely think it was worth it! And it can still be used as a couch, bed, and even the bunk (if we put all the parts back in). One other reason I like it is because the door that was under that front bunk was too low to allow a porta-pottie to slide in, but now it fits!

I was looking back thru my posts at some of the pictures (maybe you can search posts by me). I have some better pics of how we stabilized it, I'll have to get to my other computer and try to remember how to post pictures!
(If I don't use it --I lose it!)

Alan, here is a link to my trailer build http://www.fiberglassrv.com/forums/f...amp-45069.html . I put one in the front of our 13' scamp, I made the table so it stays up by laminating the table support to the wall, so nothing to hit when sliding in. When designing it, my wife and I sat across from each other to figure what was a comfortable distance for our feet.
