What year Hunter Compact ii

Can someone Please tell me what year my camper is. Where is the VIN NUMBER. The camper does not have Numbers anywhere. Please any info would be great. We Redid this camper for 2500$ from the ground up. We love it. Now just need help to get a tag. Also paint tips! Thanks

Sounds like it might be a Compact I rather than the more common Compact II, which had a few more features and associated vents. Not sure, but I think the CI has a larger bed and smaller galley/storage area. Yours appears to have been rebuilt inside.

Unfortunately I don’t think that helps with the year.

Yeah We Redone it ourselves. Just don’t have a clue what year it is. So we can get a tag. I only have a Bill of Sale. What do I tell the DMV to get it. Fiberglass utility trailer?

Manufacturer is Hunter Industries. The model is Compact II. Did a little searching and couldn't find any record there ever was a Compact I, just the Compact Jr., which has an entirely different shell. Most of the Compact II's I see in the sale archives are 1974 or 1975, so take your pick.

There is quite a bit of information in old threads you can find using the "Site Search/Google" option at the bottom of the search menu. You may be able to find out more if you take time to wade through all of it.

I like the way you redid the interior. Very simple and spacious. Light grey-blue cabinets look great! Best wishes!

I believe it’s a compact 1. Early model maybe even 68-69. Because the front has the ridges. Others do not.
