where did you find yours?
Did a lot of owners find their "egg" in the want ads, or driving by someones house, searching in RV parks, or at a meet, or even on this site? Just wondering......

Ebay. Our Uhaul VT had a "Buy it Now." Took us 10 minutes to decide, sight unseen, that we could fix it up and would love it. And we did and do.

The "free" local Nickle ads!
If you salivate for an all molded towable, check absoutely EVERYTHING in your area... including garage sales... where Sharen and Simon bought their 16' Casita!

I found mine on a local RV lot. They had taken it in on trade for a Aliner .
I'm a happy camper. I had given them my name and number to call anytime they found something small I might be interested in. It took two years because while they(molded fiberglass) exist in this state they aren't prevalent in this area. Watch all the ads, yours will find you yet.

Ebay. I hovered over the auction the whole time and then swooped in at the end (yes, I'm one of those).

I found the Compact Jr. in the print edition of the Rv Trader.
I found the Fiber Stream parked at the curb on a busy industrial street with a for sale sign in the window.

Craigslist, and I drove through a snowstorm from Philadelphia to Minneapolis to get it, a little more than one month after I had decided I needed one.
I think I'm sensing a theme here.

Buying my Trillium
I found my trailer on this site. It was the one and only Trillium that I looked at It was for sale near my home and I checked it out and bought it the same day. Gotta think that it was meant to be. Just put it " out there " and I'm confident that the right trailer will show up for you.

Parked in a farm field down a rural road. Judging by the knee-high weed grass, it had been there for a while. It was a spontaneous purchase. I was on my way to somewhere completely unrelated.

Amazingly, I found an older post that Harry the former owner of my ParkLiner put up and nothing ever came of it. I swooped down to Virginia and snatched it lol!

Mary was driving by a small RV dealer on her way back from picking blueberries, saw the Uhaul between some big trailers, stopped and looked it over. They weren't open at the time. Found out the next day that they just took it in to sell on consignment. A little bribe made it ours.

I found 3 within about 6 month on craigslist. 1st was a dog- 15 minutes away, a lovebug but way to expensive for its rotten state ($3000, hit by a dumpster with cracked corner, side windows were glued over with silicon and plexiglass, owner was chain smoker...); 2nd was decent but a bit old and still quite some work about 1hr away, 3rd was the winner 2.5hrs away.

Craigslist, took a few junkers to find the right junker at the right price. My dad drove 5 hours one way to check it out and put a down payment on it for me, then I drove 8 hours one way to get it.
