Which is the right camper?

Having lost our Burro to the evil tree we are in search of replacement. While I consider ourselves lucky to have found the Burro in the first place, there are somethings that we have learned along the way. Some from here, some from just the experience of using the Burro. Also while I think the romanace of possibly finding an older "egg" and restoring it to it's orginal glory is very appealing I have to be pratical and realize that it would not be possible at this juncture of our lives. This leaves us looking for a newer (2000+) camper and being in Florida greatly narrows our scope of posiblities. With all of that being said I would like to ask the group if they could give some pros and cons between Scamp and Casita (since these two campers with be appearing on the radar more often)

Also what is the real difference between a 16' and 17' Casita?

When I contacted Casita last year they gave me a list of the differences but dog gone it if I can find it now. From what I remember the 2 biggies (for us anyway) were smaller bed size and smaller fridge size in the 16 footer. I also think headroom is less in the 16 footer but I may not be recalling that correclty.

From their brochure:
16' interior height = 5' 10"
17' interior height = 6' 3"

My height = 6' 4" (not from their brochure).

Thank you everyone for helping clarify the difference of 12" on the Casita.

Now how about the pros and cons on the Casita/Scamps?
