Wind blows out pilot on furnace

This is my second Trillium with the same issue. Even a light breeze will blow out the furnace pilot light. I’ve had the furnace apart, cleaned the orifice and burners, replaced the gas valve with new modern one. So this is my latest, and untested, solution. Fingers crossed.

If that doesn't fix you might try replacing the furnace with modern furnace that has electric ignition. No pilot light

repost of pics

Here are the pictures right side up.

1. Love this gravity furnace because it is soooo quiet and vintage.
2. Gone through 2 vintage gas valves that failed and finally a modern new valve and it now works perfectly.
3. Spent many hours dissembling, cleaning and painting to make as "like new" as possible.
4. The purpose of the post was to help others with a similar issue and share ideas.
So...
What do you think of the vent cover? Good idea? Bad idea? Unexpected problems?
Great to get some relevant feedback. Thanks.
