Window in Bigfoot Door

The exterior black trim around the window in the door of my Bigfoot is broken in a couple of spots on the outside of the door. Can this be repaired or replaced?

Here you go.

I don't know anything about the company except that a former member bought a whole new door for his Bigfoot from them.

Would you mind resending the link to the company that sold the entire door? The link in your original post did not work for me. Thanks.

Door window trim replacement

That black plastic trim is generic and readily available, usually stocked in camping world stores or other major rv parts outlets. Also available online.

They’re the same company, same website, I just changed the link to go right to the moulding page instead of the door page. Click “products”.

Yep, and also lots of different color options too. My original trim was dark brown but when it cracked I replaced it with an ivory unit. It's fairly easy to replace.

Also inspect the doorframe especially at the bottom. The door is constructed of two sheets material , fiberglass on the outside sheet and possibly aluminum on the inside. with foam sandwiched in the middle. There is a wood strip surrounding the door itself and this can rot. Check the screws that hold the trim around the door. if they are loose and cant be tightened or they are missing you need to address the issue. A new door. is another option but the only color I could fine was stark white.

The RV repair place replaced the door on our '88 Bigfoot with no problem. Not a specialty part.

Replaced Door Window

My '89 Bigfoot door window was looking pretty sad with several little cracks. We had issue with light shining in when camping so I elected to replace with a unit that had an integral blind built in... We really like this one. The install was simple and straight forward.
