Wiring questions for 1974 Trillium 1300
I am having trouble finding the Trillium Wiring diagram on this sight. I have a 1974 Trillium 1300, and I need an idea of how the tow vehicle sends power to the trailer for the interior 12 volt lights, and 12 volt fridge, and so on. It looks like the guy who had it before me disconnected it all. I have tried to find it in the documents section but I can't .

A converter was not available till the later models. The manuals for the converter are also available:

Early ones interior lights were 120v AC. Power center was an option. If you have a power center it will be listed on the paper inside the closet door.

I am sorry. I mean on the wiring diagram.... is the big square on there the power converter? looks like both 110 and 12 volt go in and out of it on this diagram.

I would assume that is the converter. No label though.
It should be noted that this is NOT a battery charger. If you try to use it to charge your battery, you will soon need a new battery. It has no voltage control and it will boil your battery dry.

The wiring diagram on the document center includes optional items. Your trailer could have less. Either your trailer had a power center or it didn't. Diagram reflects what originally was possible, depending on how equipped your trailer was. Example in my case, wiring drawing shows a battery and a 7 pin connector. Mine had neither.

comments on the Trillium 1300 wiring diagram
This diagram is consistent with the original factory wiring I found in my Trillium 4500 including the wire colors. Features:
- Large box is a rudimentary ac-dc converter tied to 110 vac 15 amp shore power. Note only 1 ac circuit and 1 dc circuit, each protected by a button circuit breaker. Also as mentioned earlier the ac-dc converter is not designed to charge a battery.
- No battery in the diagram. My 4500 had a battery patched in to the towing cable on the tongue (black and white wires).
- 40 year old Dometic fridge is wired to run either 110 vac OR 12 vdc OR propane. There is NO 12 vdc power connection or draw when switched to propane mode.
EDIT NOTE: 40 year old Dometic fridge 12 vdc mode consumes 10 amps, thus only practical when using the tow vehicle power plug. This is an ammonia absorption fridge.

Well, It worked the day I posted it. I probably should have linked to the page that has those links. I think others have done that.
