You just need to repair the circuit to ground, Janice. Remove and clean up the existing ground point, and reattach with a new wire and connector.
I actually ran the ground wire right back to the tow vehicle, as well as grounded to the frame, with all the lights on the Trillium I rebuilt.
Oh, and congrats on the senior moment, they are coming more often for me too.

As mentioned above with most trailers the ground just runs to the trailer - usually through the housing being mounted to the metal frame. The trillium lacks this metal frame, so you'll have to run a ground wire to each of the lights.
In my case the white wire from the truck plug runs throughout the trailer and uses ring terminals with crush washers to connect to each of the light fixtures - pretty straight forward to hook up, and easy to maintain.

There is an old saying, "If you see hoof prints, suspect horses, not zebras."
We were having a problem with our left turn signal. It wouldn't work as a turn signal nor a brake light. After talking to the guy in the next site at Blake Ranch RV Park and Horse Corral, I plugged and unplugged the trailer hitch connector several times. (the connectors are the wipe type where they wipe each other when plugged and unplugged). It worked! The lights started working and have been working fine ever since. I do need to apply some silicone electrical grease.
