I have a 76 wisp, needed to repaint. Can you use paint stripper on fiberglass

You can use some brands of paint stripper. Read the labels thoroughly. I've never used any on fiberglass so can't attest to it's successful use. But here's one: https://www.amazon.com/Safe-Easy-Var...thematic_sspa?


As with any unknown be sure to test in an inconspicuous spot.



Are you absolutely certain your trailer is painted and it's not just that the gel coat is in horrible shape?
