On sale now at Canadian Tire is an excellent "smart charger" that will keep your coach battery topped up
I have been using it for the past three years and it is absolutely bulletproof and foolproof.
It is the CTEK US3300 charger...a 3.3 amp solid state unit for $60 (reg $90)
It has no fans, can withstand the elements as it is totally waterproof, and is only a few inches long and weighs next to nothing.
It has been charging my Optima coach battery for the past three years, and thus allowing me to run my Fantastic Fan all day in the hot Florida sun, along with the LED interior lights.
I have used other so-called smart chargers in the past but they all had cooling fans and had to be kept dry...this little pup does the job and needs no coddling.

Yeah I picked up one of these on sale a year ago and have been quite happy with it. I hope to mount it permanently at some point.
