Great progress!
How heavy would you estimate the empty 'glass shell is? I'm guessing it took 4 guys to lift it?

Shell weight.
The shell is very heavy. I used the 3T floor jack too. Hydraulic bottle jacks came in handy as well. Yours looks just like mine except the vent for the fridge is very tiny in yours, looks like someone already did a mod on that.

Frame
My frame is a little twisty, not the part where the shell goes but the tongue. We inspected it really well and I am under the impression that it came out of the factory like that. I think their bending jigs for the opposite sides were not quite the same. When you step way back and look at the coupler straight on one side is a little higher than the other. From what I can see in your pics it looks like yours is too. Didn't affect the towing at all, tows like a dream. If there had been a roll-over or a bump bad enough to twist the tongue the shell would be impacted and it was virtually perfect.

Glazing
I finally found the glazing spline for the windows from Showerdirect.com thru amazon. $32 for 100', I need 88' for all the windows. I have replaced all the plexi and just needed the glazing spline. Each window took at least 1 day total. So much old goop, silicone, dirt, and stuff. I will not be buying the opener arms for 30 bucks APIECE! but have got some really nice extruded aluminum from Princess Auto that is the same size so I will make my own.

Mr. Stu, thanks for posting, very helpful to Paul and me...looking forward to watching it progress! (Funny how much it looks like ours--duh!) Yes, your fridge vent is small; would be interested in hearing how much you're keeping and reusing of the original interior, including fixtures and furniture, etc.

That's good info on the glazing spline, mine has shrunk on all the windows some as much as 6" so replacement is needed.I'm thinking you had to drill out the rivets & split the 2 halves of the frame around the plexiglass to change the spline?
3 of the locking arms were missing on my windows & I wound up making them out of aluminum. If the L shaped bracket on the frame is good then you're fortunate......I made 3 of those also & that took some time!

Hi, all, it looks like Mr. Stu used a 50" sheet of plywood for the upper portion (aft) of the floor--where do you find wider than 48" plywood? Because we'd sure like to use one whole sheet if we possibly could!
