the upper and the closet i have decided not to urethane and the only reason y is that i may have to
paint the cabinets again if i sell this one. its a lot easier to take them out scuff them up and than spray them if there not glued in (im using bolts with snap caps for a clean look)
but the answer to you question.
to urethane the panels on it is a must to use a two part urethane otherwise the strength is just not there. first outline on both sides on the ensolite where the panel is going ''i suggest using a dry erase marker''.
then cut out the ensolite in about a 1 cm width inside both the lines (that way when the cabinet is on you wont see any glue and it still looks finished). than sand the 1 cm grove with any grit of sandpaper lower than 320, as well as the peace your gluing. i use a 1.5 min glue so i don't have to stand there long but that means you have to be quick. (there is 4-5 different dry times of the glue you can get)
apply glue, stick, hold and your done
the glue can be painted and its sand able
you can use it to fill small holes, cracks,
even glue other parts onto the
boler
proform glue is what i use pf7773
and the glue gun is 807n
hope this helps
