1975 Trillium 1300

Hello,

I am almost finished refurbishing our "new" 1975 Trillium 1300.

My rear brake/signal light (and cover) are original and in great shape.

Anyone know how I can convert this small bulb to LED ?

The insides of mine were in bad shape, so I just gutted it and installed an LED taillight inside mine, reused the original reflector and base. So it looked stock. You can find various options on Amazon.

This post shows how I and others did it:

Princess Auto does not seem to have that product # any more.

This looks to be the same:

Harbor Freight has a similar light for our Amerifriends.

Simple way to test is take the red cover off your Trillium and see if the LED unit from inside the other set will fit. Both companies have good return policies.

One of the lights used to have a down facing license plate light in it too which matched our Trillium.

LED brake/signal lights for Trillium 1300

Thank you for all the feedback.

After doing some research, I purchased 2 Alixlight LEDs from Amazon for $21.

They are 5x brighter than the old 2057 bulbs and they work great!
