Patched any suspect
fiberglass areas and through holes with fiberglass cloth from the inside. Also fiberglassed some wood strapping to later anchor and or mount to without necessity to compromise the Fiberglass shell.
We purchased closed cell marine foam 5 metres lenth x 2 m wide roll x 0.5 " thickness. Cut in shapes and applied with very strong spray adhesive directly to rough fiberglass interior on all walls. Acts as an insulator, won
t allow moisture transfer and should avoid mold on the fiberglass shell.
Then applied grey/ black interior 3 mm carpet liner again with spray adhesive over the foam and stuck to ceiling. Building a wood ceiling for the roof hatch that can support its own
weight.
Rebuilding the interior cabinets and benches out of plywood to remodel the inside and accept new tables, nooks, shelves, kitchen counter, stove, sink, cooler, sitting and sleeping area.
I don't know what to do about the exterior spider cracks and chips in the Gel coat. Looking for DYI solutions, or factory application also if that is the way to go.
