Okay, that back suitcase is awesome. Love the personality it gives the trailer.
Gotta ask though, what are the 5 "buttons" on the suitcase - between the straps? Reflectors, lights or a backup camera?

The five "buttons" are break/turn signal lights, reverse lights and a back up camera.

Now that things are finally coming together the refrigerator died and my hot water heater is cracked. I noticed an interesting sound of water flowing as I approached the camper after turning the hose on to test it. I have been planning on replacing the fiber-board composite floor for several years with a vinyl flooring substitute. Once my floors swell up from the gallons of water poured on it, I will have the perfect excuse to start that project. I left the air conditioner on high, I hope it will dry things out by the morning. I tilted the trailer back and drilled a drain hole. Ugh!!

On the bright side, the camper floor, below my composite flooring, is fiberglass. I don't have to worry about rot

With all the COVID renovations our camper was sitting outside more often. I forgot to winterize it; water must have froze in the lines. Maybe the cold is what killed the refrigerator too.

I'm now looking for a Dometic RM 2200 refrigerator replacement and I have to order a replacement water heater. Mine was 6 years old. At least they still make it...

Going camping regardless

How are you liking your induction stove, would you recommend the True Induction brand. I'm completely rebuilding a 19' Scamp fifth wheel (completely gutted at the moment and thinking to add an induction cook top as part of this reno. Thoughts?

We love it, but I must say it was a bit of a science experiment. If you only plan to camp "hook-upped," then going electric will be a pleasure. However, if boondocking is an interest to you then going propane is potentially better unless you are willing to make additional modifications.

In our current situation I wanted both the convenience of induction cooking and the ability to boondock, while still using the induction stove.

The answer was to design and build a big enough battery bank/solar generator capable of running the electric appliances while being space and weight conscience.
