Now that things are finally coming together the
refrigerator died and my hot water heater is cracked. I noticed an interesting sound of water flowing as I approached the camper after turning the hose on to test it. I have been planning on replacing the fiber-board composite floor for several years with a vinyl flooring substitute. Once my floors swell up from the gallons of water poured on it, I will have the perfect excuse to start that project. I left the air conditioner on high, I hope it will dry things out by the morning. I tilted the trailer back and drilled a drain hole. Ugh!!
On the bright side, the camper floor, below my composite flooring, is
fiberglass. I don't have to worry about rot
With all the COVID renovations our camper was sitting outside more often. I forgot to winterize it; water must have froze in the lines. Maybe the cold is what killed the
refrigerator too.
I'm now looking for a Dometic RM 2200
refrigerator replacement and I have to order a replacement water heater. Mine was 6 years old. At least they still make it...
Going camping regardless
