Yikes, how hard can this be? I have a 1984 scamp
13 and am trying to attach a 4-pin flat male connector which will attach to my tow vehicle equipped with a 4-pin flat female. There's only 4 wires. I have assumed that matching color to color would work but I end up with some crazy results. Attached are photos of my test connection for trouble shooting. The vehicle has two side lights
and two rear lights
with two bulbs each, one single fulfillment (bottom) and one with dual filament (top). Here' what I get from this wiring:
LT = Both bottom rear bulbs (small) flash
RT = Both top rear bulbs (large, one filament only) flash
= Right rear top bright (both filaments) only
Bake = Right side light
, both rear top single filament and no left side light
Emergency flasher = all bulbs flash
How is this even possible?
This must be rocket science. Any help is most appreciated.
