1992 Love Bug

So we've owned our little 13 foot Love Bug for almost 9 years now. It has been a great trailer, I've made modifications here and there and since it's always being used it was hard to take on a large renovation, but finally decided the inside was due for a refresh. Painted all the interior fiberglass, new hardware, solid vinyl flooring, and new wood doors. Also redid the front bunk and added additional rear upper side shelves. It was a lot of work for a few busy weekends, but we had fun on our last camping trip! Sleeps two adults, and our 6 and 7 year olds. Eventually the kids will outgrow the front bunk. I will likely need to strengthen the design, but for now it works....Next project will be the exterior repaint.

Pictures of converting the closet to a food pantry. 90 degree aluminum I found to offer the best strength with almost zero added weight.

Nice work!
I really like your CAD work in the pantry (Cardboard-Aided-Design). I use a lot of aluminum in my boler too, great strength-to-weight ratio.
Great looking trailer, I hope you enjoy it.

Thanks! Definitely a fan of CAD design.... especially when nothing in these has right angles!

So by CAD design you mean you made cardboard models of the structured you intended to build and used them as templates to cut the material used in the final.product?
