3M Command Hooks

Under the One can never have too many hooks school of thought, I purchased a couple of packages of these slick 3M Command Hooks ... that come with stretch adhesive for easy removal.

Actually, I purchase the two packages a couple of months ago, and put up two for Pam's coffee cup and my tea cup above the sink in our trailer.

They've worked like a charm, withstood the test of time and weight of the cups (which we take off the hooks for travel).

So, anyway, this past weekend, while we were camping, I decided to put the remaining hooks on the inside of the trailer, in various spots I thought would add to our comfort.

I even put one on the cabinet, directly above my head, when sleeping, so I could hang my little LED flashlight at night ... for easy retrieval when things go bump in the night.

Well, to make a long story short, Pam comes in, and with words I can't repeat on this family website, told me my hook and hanging flashlight looked like <img src=http://home.insightbb.com/~cbwatts/sm_censored.gif/>

She also didn't like the location of another hook I had carefully placed.

Why am I telling you all this?

Well, in case you are wondering about how easy the 3M Command Hooks are to remove ... from first hand experience, I can tell you the little suckers come right off the wall when you pull the little tab.

Anything to keep the peace!

But now I have to find another place to keep my flashlight at night!

I have a suggestion, but you'd have to look over your shoulder to see what was lit....:o OTOH, Pam might be amused!

Pete who just couldn't resist a straight line like that and snickering Rats

Lee keeps her LED flashlight in her purse, maybe that would work for you. :cblob

Good one Pete. :laugh

Hmmm

Hmmm, Morgan, I usually also have trouble finding my purse ... particularly when I'm sleeping!

And Pete, your flashlight placement sounds painful!

I like Don's post on another thread, of a piece of PVC pipe ... but we sleep in our Liberty with our heads towards the rear bumber, so it wouldn't work for me.

I like the hook idea. Just have to get Pam's approval as to hook placement.
