5R Panel and Mods

This is a picture of a panel that I mounted to the front of a Scamp 5r.

The box on the left is a junction box that connects the running lights and hot 12VDC from the tug. (Why) Had a umbilical cable come disconnected fron the tug once, drug on the ground and ruined it and had a heck of a time replacing it and should it ever happen again, will only have to attach the new plug to this Junction box.

There are LEDs on the J box for Hot connection, running lights and stop/turn. Can see them from the rear view mirror.

The next box over (TAP) is the emergency brake battery and charger.

Under the brake battery There is a cable / alarm where the cable comes out and you connect it around your chairs, bicycles, etc and it plugs back into the alarm. Cut the cable and the alarm sounds.

The Small brown box to the right has A 12VDC receptacle for a light.

Other cables are PVC covered security wire rope that secures the LP bottles and the battery (Padlocked).

PVC Tube for the waist water flexible tubing.

Nice job and all nice mods. I put a junction box in a 13 that I just sold not long ago, and I'm going to put another in my new to me 13. They can come in very handy at times.
