Adding Blind to Awning

We have a nice factory installed crank out awning on our Scamp. We would like to add some type of roll-up blind to the side of the awning between the legs to provide some sun/wind protection. This side is the one that has the metal edge that extends from/retracts into the storage housing on the side of the Scamp. We would manually attach the roll-up awning after extending from the Scamp.

Does anyone have any ideas or suggestion for such a blind AND how we can attach it to the factory awning? Thanks

I was thinking of something similar, sun screen from the awning down to the ground. Perhaps your idea , a solid windscreen would be more useful.

I would attach some aluminum channel to the end of the awning similar to the type used for lighting strings, if there is not something there like that already.

If you cut the tarp with hollow curves on the edges, two stakes would hold it and keep it from flapping.

A hollow cut means it is not cut in a straight line but has less material in the middle and more in the corners. So the middle is always under tension.

Eleanor, have you checked with Susan's Shades? Maybe the pictures alone would give you some ideas. I have one of her "Over the Awning" tie downs and it's a quality product.
