Bigfoot 5th whl remodel? Air COmfort Mattress review?

As many of you know, we purchased the Murphy's beautiful 1987 Bigfoot 5th wheel. Since we'll be full-timing in it (soon we hope) we're looking for some remodel ideas to support this new life style. Looking for your suggestions on 5th whl remodel web-site or user groups. In addition, after reading the Moeller's great book on Full-Timing we considered purchasing an Air Comfort bed... but the reviews are horrid. Anyone had experience with this mattress?? Thanks in advance for your input.

At home we tried out one of those Sleep Number beds and didn't like it. Bought a TempurPedic and love it. Based on that we went to Walmart and bought a memory foam mattress for our Egg Camper. Very comfy and very reasonably priced. Around $100 if my geezer memory hasn't failed me.

Thanx for the response. Do you find the memory foam mattress retains body heat?

No. We find that it's no different from any other kind of mattress. We have a good quality cover on it and, both at home and in the trailers, we use 100% cotton flannel sheets year around. Even when hot & humid they don't get that clammy feeling that regular sheets do. Many years now since we've had regular sheets.

Good to know about the sheets. We've been using those snuggly microfleece sheets - maybe that would also work on the foam mattress. Thanx.
