Boler frame rebuild...

Hi all! Just a curious question - what's a ballpark cost for a total frame rebuild on a 13 foot boler? Just to add to my contemplation...

When our frame was built from scratch it was
$350 for all the materials
$60 for all the paint
$40 24 of beers
$40 24 of beers
$30 take out lunch
~$520CAD total.

Not quite sure what the average is to get one fabricated at a shop though.

I saw a list from Metro trailers in Winnipeg from May 2017 that had the following prices for galvanized frames:

Frame only (no axle) $1600
Frame w/ idler axle $1850
Frame w/ electric brake axle $2260

So that should give you an idea of the cost from a shop.

They estimated 8 - 16 hours of labor to install the new frame on top of the costs above.
