Factory cabinet latches in my Scamp are pretty lame. They barely hold the doors closed when parked. Most aftermarket hardware mounts at a right angle to the door. They don't work on a flat cabinet without a vertical wooden strut inside. Any ideas?

well, not sure i picture exactly the issue you are having with different latches. but for what its worth, we used cam latches on our boler resto to keep the doors closed and they also work as handles. https://www.amazon.com/Camco-44323-T.../dp/B002UC8U30

I used the same as Cesar. Never had an issue with them opening up!

I installed the magnetic baby locks in our Campster. They work great and kept the doors and drawers secure when we took a detour that was 22 miles of washboard gravel. The hardest part is remembering the sweet spots to trigger the magnets.
