Thanks Don - I've seen the marine-grade ones and they're so big and clunky, I'd feel like saying Ahoy, Matie every time I'd switch batteries! :o :wave :o

So I'll pursue the automotive ones now.

I don't see another trip for a few weeks, so I've got the luxury of time for this.

The marine ones are prolly clunky and $$ because they are meant to be used in explosive atmospheres, like hydrogen (from overcharging) and gasoline, below decks.

Good job Tom.
sail boats have a switch like you mentioned left battery, right battery or off. but if it says sail boat it'll cost more.
